Students from all Swiss Education Group schools join the International Recruitment Forum twice a year, an exclusive opportunity to network with over 100 international organizations seeking interns for opportunities all around the world. This IRF is the 26th IRF conducted for SEG students. During IRF, the students get a chance to be interviewed by many different companies from various countries and segments just within one day. In order to obtain this opportunity, students are supposed to register for the event, prepare and practice and do the research about the desired positions and companies (culinaryartsswitzerland.com, 2021).
As a student, you might have a question: “why should I participate in the IRF this year?” The answer is simple - it is s great opportunity to find yourself an internship in one of the many companies who are considered to be leaders of their segments worldwide. During the IRF students are also able to get to know many people working and studying in different establishments, which is extremely important in hospitality industry, since many things are going to be related to individual’s connections in the future (elearning.swissedu.net, 2021).
The event will take place on November 9th, 2021, from 07h – 20h. There will be many participants in this event and that event will be conducted in a hybrid way: some part of the actions will happen on campus, whereas the other part will happen online. Among the participating companies we can see companies, such as “ACCOR”, which is a world-leading hospitality group offering unique and meaningful experiences in 5,200 hotels, resorts, and residences across 110 countries. Or, as another example, “Althoff Hotels” from Germany, where you can expect top culinary performance in the 3-star restaurant Überfahrt , true culinary art in four themed restaurants and a stylish bar, which would be an ideal place to have your internship (elearning.swissedu.net, 2021).
IRF is one of the most important events happening this year in Bouveret, and the authors urge you to register, attend and participate, since it might be vital for your future careers!
